Abstract

In recent years it has intensified the conflicts related to the use of identifying garb of belief by some Muslim students, particularly the islamic headscarf or hijab. Should we allow their presence in the classroom? Should the right to education or religious freedom prevail? The lack of legislation on an unthinkable phenomenon in our country a few years ago has generated a loophole that fuels the debate, not only in legal and political forums, but also in the street. Integration should be the goal to achieve, but we must ask ourselves whether the system makes you need to tend to it. The answer is a resounding no judging by case Najwa Malha, axis of this study.
